The application process to be a volunteer at UEFA EURO 2020 in Dublin has re-opened with a limited number of places available.
More than 1,000 volunteers have already re confirmed their availability and signed up to what will be the biggest sporting event to ever be hosted in Ireland. If you are considering being PART OF THE TEAM, you are encouraged to sign-up before it’s too late.
Dublin had been due to be one of 12 host cities in the pan-European competition this year but the cessation of football across Europe due to the Covid-19 pandemic saw EURO 2020 postponed until 2021, kicking off in Rome on June 11th.
The 1,000 plus volunteers, taken from 74 nations are raring to go for next summer’s tournament in Dublin which will see the city host four fixtures.
UEFA EURO 2020 Volunteer Manager, Paul Martyn said: “We have been thrilled with the number of volunteers who have re-committed to take part in next summer’s tournament. We have had more responses than any other host city which goes to show just how determined people are to help put on a show here in Ireland”
“There will be limited availability for volunteer roles but if the uptake follows the trend we saw at the start of our recruitment process last year we anticipate these opportunities to be snapped up.”
